The first time I met Dan Fields I read his palm and knew he was not from our world. I sensed that his energy came from an older simpler time. He was a man in transition, struggling to find his way. He was a traveler.
When he showed me his granny’s cross set with a crystal, I understood that he had protection. I sometimes got glimpses of Granny, an old woman in a sunbonnet, who was his spirit guide. She often appeared with a large wolf at her side and both were covered with a pure white aura. Although she never spoke to me, I knew she talked to her grandson.
Dan believed, as his granny did, that certain animals possess the power to alert those attuned to their energy. Dan told me about his dreams and the warnings he’d received. These were often followed by the appearance of a goose feather. In many cultures, geese are known to be sentinels warning of peril.
I knew that Dan, himself, possessed some of Granny’s power. To my sorrow, I learned that his cousin, Dillon, had also inherited power from Granny and used it to work evil. (Rebel Traveler – Pages, 54, 55, 65, 71, 214, 221)
